Thumb a ride! Norfolk Green bus times by text

Starting with the 48, we are making all of our bus times available by text message. Keep checking this site for news of when more routes are added.

To use the service, you need to text the word 'time', followed by a space, and then tell us where you want to go to and from and at what time, putting a full stop between these last three items. The codes you need are shown below, and are also shown on our online timetables on this site. For the time, put in the hour you want to travel at in 24 hours, so if you want to go after 8am, text '8', or if you want to go after 4pm, put in '16'.

So as an example, if you wanted to travel from King's Lynn to Grimston at 12 noon, you would text time klb.grm.12

Send your text to 60777 and you'll get a reply in seconds. Each text costs 25p plus your normal mobile phone tariff charge.

At the moment, the info you receive will be scheduled departure times, but in the future we hope to add real time information so you'll know if your bus is delayed due to traffic or roadworks.

Here are the bus stop codes for the 48 - we'll add the codes for more routes as we go live. Also, bear in mind that until other routes in the area are done, requesting times between King's Lynn, Gaywood and the Q.E. Hospital will only give times for buses on the 48.
